CoachEx is getting ready to make a splash. Or should we say… a smash?

We built CoachEx for one reason: to unlock personalized tennis coaching for every player.

If you haven’t tried CoachEx yet, now’s the time. There’s nothing else quite like it.

Many tennis apps promise “AI coaching,” but most stop at statistics, graphs, or video playback. They can tell you where the ball landed or how bent your knee was ... but they leave you to figure out what that actually means for your game.

CoachEx is different.

CoachEx doesn’t just analyze your tennis. It coaches you. It helps you understand what to change, why it matters, and most importantly, how to improve.

If you’ve worked with human coaches — and we love our human coaches — you know the challenges. Private lessons are expensive. Group lessons don’t always provide personal attention. Watching videos online can be helpful, but those videos aren’t about you. Recording yourself is inconvenient, and even when you do, it’s hard to know what you’re seeing or what to fix.

And if you have a busy schedule, finding time for lessons and practice when both you and courts are available can be a challenge on its own. When you can get yourself on a court, you want to play! Practice comes second, right?

In 2025, a few of us started wondering whether the latest breakthroughs in AI could finally help solve these problems. As players ourselves, we knew the frustrations firsthand. As technologists, we believed AI could make something possible that had never really existed before: a personal tennis coach available anytime, anywhere, built specifically for you, at a price recreational players could actually afford.

That idea became CoachEx.

We don’t see AI as a gimmick. We see it as a tool — one part of a larger system designed to deliver real value to players. Everything we build is driven by a simple question:

“Will this actually help someone improve their tennis?”

We use CoachEx ourselves every week. We waited until it genuinely helped our games before sharing it with others.

And we’re just getting started.
